Ephesians 6

It’s been one of those afternoons. It’s hard to focus on a coherent blog post right now. For those who have teenagers, I’m sure you can relate.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise), so that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth. –Ephesians 6:1-3.

God Himself is telling children to honor their father and mother so–get this–they “may live long on the earth.” Huh. Isn’t that an interesting choice of words. Wonder what the flip side of that is?

In any case, this post is mean to be light-hearted. Like I said, parents of teenagers, I know you can relate.

I never tire of seeing this.

I never tire of seeing this.

May He Increase!
