Today I resume my new weekly post for Fridays: “Friday Link Love!”
But first, I want to wish my beautiful wife a Happy Birthday today! We just celebrated our 8th anniversary. We have grown so much together and as a family. I’m blessed to call her my wife. I know that this blog would not be as successful if it wasn’t for her love and support of me. So Happy Birthday honey! I love you very much!
- During the series last week on Holy Week, one passage I failed to make any mention of was Mark 14:51-52. On the local Christian radio station here in Southern CA, this very passage was mentioned. Over at Desiring God, there is this post that talks about it. This explanation matches what was said on the radio and I’m in agreement with its assessment.
- I really like Shane Vander Hart’s Caffeinated Thoughts. I enjoy his blog because not only does he deal with current political issues, but he views them through the lens of Scripture. The post about President Obama’s misuse of Scripture is no exception.
- DefendingContending have outdone themselves. In a single post, they have listed no less than 18 horrific Easter sermons at supposedly Christian churches. Surely this is an exhibit for the last days.
- My brother, Demian Farnworth, over at Fallen and Flawed, has a great interview with one of his readers who is an atheist. Should be interesting to watch as it unfolds.
- There is an age-old question of “If God is all-powerful and good, why is there evil?” My brother Jeff at Jeofurry’s Jesus Journey has an interesting post on this that is worth looking at.
- I really like Mark Gungor a lot. Not only is he hilarious, but he has so much wisdom and insight. He has a recent post on why abstinence pledges fail. I agree with him 100%.
- Chrystal’s–of Slaughter of the Sheep–mother is in need of prayer. Please remember to pray for her.
- Brother Will Hapeman of Willohroots has a war going on over at his church!
My list is a little light this week. I’ve been away from the house for a few days on vacation and as a result, I’ve not had a full opportunity to catch up on my blog reading.
May He Increase!

Happy Anniversary to you and your wife, Joe, and a very Happy Birthday to your wife!
Keep up the good work at ‘May He Increase’!
Steve,
Thanks so much for your well wishes! Much appreciated!
Joe,
Thanks for the link love again this week. I really like the post on abstinence pledges as well. Hope that you had a good week celebrating. God bless.
Jeff,
My pleasure. Have a great weekend.
