Danny Gans: 1956-2009

Danny Gans may not be a household name outside of Las Vegas, but he should have been.

He was a husband, father, and an incredible performer. I never had the opportunity to see him live, but I have seen him on TV and promo spots. He was incredible.

Danny was called home to heaven early this morning. He leaves behind his wife and children. Praise God that Danny was a born-again Christian. It should help his family and the rest of us who are in schock over his death that we will see him again in our Father’s kingdom!

No one is promised tomorrow!

May He Increase!

About Joe

I am a born-again Christian who believes the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, the final authority for faith and life, inerrant in the original writings, infallible and God-breathed. I am a husband, father and stepfather who eagerly waits for the return of Jesus, the Meshiach Nagid.

First I ever heard of this guy. Enjoyed the video. I have no idea how someone handles the death of a loved one w/o knowing they are with the Lord. I’m pushing 60 now and have been to way too many funerals in my life. Most of them were not a happy ending. I have already written my obituary and I’m thinking about putting my last words on a video to play at my funeral. I want that opportunity to share the Gospel one last time. I even have my last letters to my wife and son on my computer. That may sound a little strange to some people…..but it is something I wanted to do. One of things I tell them is to “be sure” they will be there. The Scriptures tell us to examine ourselves to make sure “we” are in the faith!

      Ike,

Thanks for sharing that. I’ve written letters to my baby boy even before he was born. I like your idea, too, and will probably do that as I get older.

      Have a blessed week.
