Persecution or a Great Awakening?

Posted By Joe on June 1, 2009

UPDATE 06/02/2009: Don't think this isn't already happening? Check this out on Huffington Post. I especially liked this quote:

"The 'war on terror' needs to include domestic religious."

I ran across this video from Paul Washer.

There is much truth in it and it's sobering. I think he's spot on.

Are we, the Church, ready for this?

Or are we blindly and misguidedly not paying attention to the signs of the times? --Matthew 16:3

We need more men like Washer. If you ever have the chance.....listen to his sermon titled, "Regeneration/self denial". It's one of the best sermons I ever heard.

    Joe,
Very sobering. I did a recent post at my blog about these same issues. We had a guy stay with us almost two weeks ago who had been arrested last year in Hickory, NC, for sharing the gospel in a public square.

Thank you, Jeff. Persecution is here and is only going to get worse here at home. We will finally get a taste of what the rest of the world has been experiencing.
