America will celebrate the 4th of the July this weekend, our 233rd birthday.
Our country is going to through hard times right now and so are the majority of its citizens: my family included. A vast majority of us are struggling financially and in a lot of respects, you could say it’s the result and fall out from many bad choices. May Almighty God forgive us, and may we turn back to Him to heal us and our nation.
I’m proud to be an American, and I’m abundantly grateful to God and the men and women who have fought to keep us free from tyranny.
Freedom isn’t free! We owe it, primarily, to the Creator of the universe. We owe it secondarily to the men and women who have given their lives to defend it from those who would take it from us.
And My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. –2 Chronicles 7:14.
May God watch over, protect, and guide the United States, its leaders and its citizens! May we turn and seek His face!
