Today begins a new chapter for my family and me.
Last week, I experienced the end of the chapter I was on for the past two years. I also made a decision to rely on God’s provision, and finally I experienced God’s divine “push” off of the proverbial high dive.
I want to witness His signs and care during this time for those that may be experiencing employment crises. Last week’s posts bear testimony to the works of God. I know that I am going through this process to help others that may be or will be experiencing job loss.
One of the books that I haven’t yet covered here is Habakkuk. As I went through it this morning, I was struck by passages that directly apply to my life right now and bear further witness and testimony to God’s loving care.
Though the fig tree should not blossom and there be no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive should fail and the fields produce no food, though the flock should be cut off from the fold and there be no cattle in the stalls, yet I will exult in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, and He has made my feet like hinds’ feet, and makes me walk on my high places. –Habakkuk 3:17-19.
I love this passage. Reminds me of Psalm 23 and Job. God is in control. God knows our every need. We simply need to cast our cares and worries upon Him because He knows our rising and our sitting down (Psalm 139:2) and knows how many hairs are on our heads (Matthew 10:30)!
It’s a new day, new week, a new chapter in our lives. I’m excited at what God has planned for us. May we continue to do His will and be a blessing to Him and to others! And . . .
May He Increase!

Thanks, Joe.
For reminding me that God is at work…through it all…the thick and the thin…the good and the bad.
I want so much to be a witness and testimony to the goodness of God. Everything up to this point has been a lesson, reminder, and testing for our faith in God’s promises, goodness and provision. I want to bear witness to the goodness of our God!
Your hearts desire speaks volumes!
