James, thanks so much for your visit and comment. Just to clarify, I removed the portion of your comment relating to another blog’s comment. Amen; as Dietrich Bonhoffer said, when Christ calls a man, He calls him to come and die. (He said it in German, I think, but it was something like that.) It is under the cross, bearing it for Christ, that we are most aware of being in contact with His blood.
