I believe…that the Bible is divinely inspired (2 Timothy 3:16, 17) and is the infallible word of God.
I believe…that there is only one true and living God who is manifested in three eternal and equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 3:17, 18).
I believe…that Jesus Christ was virgin-born, sinless (Hebrews 4:15), died on the cross for our sins, was raised bodily from the dead on the third day, and is coming again (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4: John 14:3, Revelation 22:20). Jesus is the Son of God, God in the flesh and Lord of all (John 1:1, 14; Romans 10:9; Acts 10:36).
I believe…that man is a sinner (Romans 3:23) and is saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8, 9). Man’s response to God’s grace includes repentance (Acts 17:30), publicly confessing Jesus as Lord (Romans 10:9, Matthew 10:32, 33) and baptism by immersion (Acts 2:38; Acts 10:47). Every Christian is a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) and is indwelt, empowered and gifted by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9) to become like Christ in character and deed.
I believe…that Christ is the head and chief shepherd of the church (Colossians 1:18; 1 Peter 5:4). The purpose of the church is to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). Every believer is to be an ambassador (2 Corinthians 5:20) and minister (Ephesians 4:11, 12) of the gospel to help win our community to Jesus Christ.
I believe…that the Church should continually devote themselves to the apostles teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread (communion or Lord’s Supper) and prayer (Acts 2:42, Acts 20:7).
