It was God’s turn to speak to Job last time. We studied God’s first response to Job by studying His knowledge. We looked at God in His role as Lord over all nature.

Job’s three friends have finished their first rounds of “speeches” to him.
We ended with Zophar’s first speech to Job. Filled with insults and false judgments, Zophar’s speech didn’t help Job anymore than the other two friends of his.

Job’s friend Bildad, the “voice of tradition,” accused Job of being a sinner and that is why he is suffering so. We looked at this last time.
