The video was an analysis of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.” I’ve known about the song for awhile and have hesitated posted anything on it because I really didn’t want to bring her any more attention than she deserves.

Up to this point, I have never seen the video nor really ever heard the song. I have, however, read the lyrics.

Honestly, I’m absolutely stunned at the analysis that Pastor Fred Price Jr. has done on this video. It’s chilling. If you have about 10 minutes or so, watch the video below.

I don’t know about you, but my blood ran cold. I even had to find the original video on YouTube just to make sure that EX Ministries hadn’t done some kind of clever editing. After watching the first couple of minutes, I realized that the original video was real.

I’ve known for a while that the pink, upside triangle is typically a lesbian symbol. I’ve also known that the rainbow is a symbol of the gay community.

What I never put together before this was how the symbol of God’s promise to mankind that He would never destroy the earth with a flood again (Genesis 9:12-17) is now used as a symbol of what God calls an abomination! Isn’t that exactly what Satan’s strategies are?

When I first saw the post, I figured it was just going to be another sensationalized, Christian rant and maybe thin on the details. I was wrong. Price has done his homework on this.

I’m amazed at how many times that post gets a hit. I wonder if people are really looking for a light out of the darkness.

In that post, we looked at what God told the prophet Ezekiel:

“Son of man, I have appointed you a watchman to the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me. When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. Yet if you have warned the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered yourself.” –Ezekiel 3:17-19. (Emphasis mine.)

Recently, I had to remind my stepson that he needs to use wisdom and discernment with regard to people in his life and the lifestyle they are living.

It pains me . . . no it utterly grieves me to see young people walking in darkness. It angers me to see how Satan and his demons fool people into claiming allegiance to God but then live a lifestyle so far from what a walk with Him is supposed to be. It truly is a great deception.

Sometimes I’m confronted with things going on near to my family. I can feel Satan and his demons’ pressing down upon me and whispering lies in my ear at times to the point of asking: “What’s the use?” But then I recognize that is just what he wants: to discourage us! To give up.

It’s times such as these that I call to mind the verses:

You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. –1 John 4:4.

“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” –John 16:33.

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. –Philippians 4:8.

It wasn’t so many years ago that I was a teenager and had walked away from God. That is probably why–when I see the younger crowd walking contrary to God’s Word–I get so upset. I was there! I know how lost I was and how utterly depraved I was! What is more concerning is that the time is getting shorter and shorter: the signs of Jesus’ return are becoming clearer and clearer each day.

We live in a dark age of deceit. The problem is that it is masquerading as enlightenment. The days are unbelievably evil when you view them as God views them. My prayer is that the young people will open their eyes before it is too late.

In our western mind, we reckon days from the stroke of midnight. But in the Jewish world, days begin at sunset. This will become important as we recall the events of this evening and tomorrow 2,000 years ago.

Thursday, 13th/14th of Nisan 32 A.D.

Judas has already planned the betrayal of Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. During the day today, Jesus instructed His disciples to get the Upper Room ready so that He could celebrate the Passover with them.

So much occurs this night. After the “last supper,” Jesus goes to the Garden of Gethsemane. It was during this time that Jesus prays to the Father, three times, that if there was any other way for mankind to get to Heaven except the cross, Jesus wanted to take it.

And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.” –Matthew 26:39.

Three times Jesus asks God for another way to Him but the cross. Each time the answer came back: only by the cross. Do you realize the enormity of this? If there was any other way to the Father but by the cross of Christ, then Jesus’ prayer wasn’t answered and He died in vain.

One of the greatest lies is that “there are many paths to God.” Don’t believe that for a second. If you do, you are buying into the same lie that Satan told to Adam and Eve in the garden. It’s a lie that he keeps telling. He keeps telling it because people keep believing it. Don’t make that mistake!

Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life! No one comes to the Father but through Him! (John 14:6)

God really hates pride.

Why? Have you ever wondered why God hates pride so much? The answer may surprise you.

When we are prideful, we become like Satan. In fact, it was pride that was Satan’s downfall.

“How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, you who have weakened that nations! But you said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, and I will sit on the mount of assembly in the recesses of the north.’” –Isaiah 14:12-13.

These verses are speaking directly about Satan. Don’t let the title “star of the morning” confuse you and make you think it’s talking about Jesus. As you may recall, one of Satan’s names is “Lucifer” which means “light-bearer.” In fact, in the King James, verse 12 is rendered as:

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!” –Isaiah 14:12 (KJV).

Paul warns us:

No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. –2 Corinthians 11:13.

Getting back to Isaiah, we we see the ultimate goal of pride, in Satan’s own words!

“‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’” –Isaiah 14:14 (Emphasis mine).

God will not share His glory. God has no equal. He is Lord and creator of all.

Do you struggle with pride? How do you deal with it in your life? Are you quick to recognize it? Quick to repent of it?

3. The Flaunting of Sin

It’s not an attractive list. Can you think of a nation more dedicated to covetousness–a form of idol worship–than the United States?

Care to see what a huge market alcohol is for our nation? Watch this year’s Super Bowl and count the ratio of beer and alcohol commercials compared to the rest of the advertisements.

Is there a nation more prideful than ours about the levels of depravity to which we can sink? Between our gay-pride parades and the endless iterations of movies like “Saw” and “Hostel” not to mention the volumes of pornography that are easily available, we pride ourselves–as a nation–on everything God abhors!

The fourth woe we will look at today:

The Six Woes of Isaiah: Woe #4 – Perverting Moral Distinction

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! –Isaiah 5:20.

An obvious sequel to the flaunting of sin, or possibly the reason there can be the flaunting of sin, is that somewhere along the line, there has been a perversion of moral distinction or what is right and wrong. What we are experiencing in our nation is moral relativism.

According to the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy:

The term ‘moral relativism’ is understood in a variety of ways. Most often it is associated with an empirical thesis that there are deep and widespread moral disagreements and a metaethical thesis that the truth or justification of moral judgments is not absolute, but relative to some group of persons. Sometimes ‘moral relativism’ is connected with a normative position about how we ought to think about or act towards those with whom we morally disagree, most commonly that we should tolerate them. (Emphasis mine.)

At it’s most basic form, moral relativism holds that there are no absolutes when it comes to morality and that whatever  you believe is truth to you. In other words, “you have your truths, and I have mine.” What’s the natural outflow of that? You do whatever feels right to you! Taken to the extreme, you are your own god!

These are lies.

He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord. –Proverbs 17:15.

Jesus also had something to say about this. Jesus talked about the root issue:

“The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!” –Matthew 6:22-23.

Friend there are absolutes in this world and they are found in the Bible, the Word of God. The thinking behind this perversion of good and evil, light and darkness, sweet and bitter are from the devil, the father of lies. From the beginning he was behind this type of thinking!

In the Garden of Eden, God gave moral absolutes to Adam and Eve. God told them that the day that ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they would die. So what happened?

The serpent said to the woman, “You surely shall not die! For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” –Genesis 3:4.

Satan lied to Eve. He directly opposed God’s commandment! And so it is with America today: homosexuality is “out of closet” and has become a government-protected relationship. Gay marriage is no longer shocking and is slowly gaining support and acceptance. Those that would oppose it are called hate-mongers and prejudiced.

God and prayer are outlawed in schools! You cannot start the day with prayer in the public school because of “separation of church and state.” Revisionist history pervades our classrooms. There are loud voices who would deny that America was founded upon Christian beliefs and values.

Thomas Jefferson said:

“God who gave us life gave us liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that his justice cannot sleep forever.”

Jefferson must be turning over in his grave right about now if he could see what has become of the country he helped to found. I believe he would be shocked at how we have perverted the foundation that he and his fellow Founding Fathers established.

The solution is for America to repent! We must all repent of the sin in our lives and give our lives to Christ!
